Meet Dr. Rita Singh
Dr. Rita Singh, Ph.D., an internationally acclaimed expert in voice analysis research, has transformed the landscape of respiratory illness detection over the past 25 years. As a distinguished professor at Carnegie Mellon University, Dr. Singh’s groundbreaking technology and innovative platform have been rigorously assessed by medical clinics across India and the Philippines, demonstrating remarkable accuracy with a commitment to privacy.
Hematico LLC (“Hematico”) offers a proprietary Vocal Fold Asymmetry Analysis that transcribes biomarkers from sensitive sensors preferentially positioned to monitor respiratory wellness.
Hematico has developed an analyzer that transcribes these biomarkers and then classifies them as negative or positive using convoluted neural networks, advanced forms of artificial intelligence commonly used in voice recognition and medical image classification. These neural networks learn by example to map the biomarkers to negative or positive signals. As the number of examples increases, the classification accuracy increases. Thus, as false positives drive testing-for-entry, each test result serves as an additional example that the neural network learns from so that the classifications become more and more accurate as the app is used.
The initial Hematico Voice Analyzer and Classifier models’ software and Demand Side Platform (DSP) algorithms were developed from testing in multiple scientific studies. As the utilization of the app increases, it is continuously learning, which will increase its capability.
